Our Mission
Most chocolate consumed is processed with artificial ingredients, but after discovering the source of chocolate, the cacao tree, we have found that people have been working with cacao in a sacred way for a long time. That way is much different than industrially produced chocolate. Here at Synergy, we are returning back to the roots of chocolate; pure organic cacao.
Our cacao comes from a family owned and operated farm in the Guatemalan jungles of Suchitepequez. Cacao helps to support the families in this village and their children's education rights, it funds schooling and the movement of social justice. Our cacao is crafted in the traditional Mayan way, by taking out the beans (seeds), drying them in the sun, fermenting them in traditional boxes, fire roasting, and hand peeling the skin from the beans. Lastly a grinder is used to make it into the 100% pure cacao paste. Our cacao is of the Criollo variety with the highest amounts of theobromine.
By supporting Synergy, you are helping to build alliances and partnerships. In a world where culture is separated and opportunity is imbalanced, we are inspired to bridge this gap. With your support, you are contributing to the protection of indigenous land and the preservation of these ways of life.
